I've only eaten here twice in my 4 1/2 years of living in Mtn. Home, and both times the food was gross. The service sucked. I thought maybe if I ordered something different the second time it would be a little better but it wasn't.

So, let me start off by saying Mountain Home, ID is a small town so having a restaurant like Wingers is a blessing. It really is the most close "fine dining" we have. The workers are very friendly and helpful. The food is good but not great. Again, it beats driving 45 mins to Boise to get some sort of "fine dining". I enjoy eating at Wingers once in awhile when we don't want to have Jack In The Box, Wendys, Arbys, or McDonalds.

The hefeweissen is ok and the the staff is awesome especially Samantha. I was here for a casual night of popcorn and beer. They were friendly and personable to a guy who is definitely not a local.

The pancake deluxe breakfast and trash hash are worth the wait. The pancakes have a light and unique flavor, one I found to be very good. It's not your typically floury pancake, and the lightness is nice. Eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection. The trash hash had generous pieces of bell pepper, and the white gravy was excellent, thick, flavorful, with a hint of pepper. The sausage chunks in the hash were large, too. I had an over-easy egg on top, and everything melded together for a great breakfast with that oozy yolk running through the hash. Service was okay. The hostess seemed quite unhappy to see and seat us. Just not her day, I suppose. Our server, by contrast, was attentive and friendly. Food took a little longer than I would have liked. Pancakes typically crank out quickly, but ours apparently needed some extra special love. Luckily, there are several TVs (no sound), and I learned from a petroleum company while watching Fox News that coal is a really super clean energy source.

Since when do you serve omelets containing cold/raw vegetables and the cheese isn't even melted?

Went here for complementary breakfast after staying at the Best Western the night before. You get four choices or $6 off your choice from the menu. Not terrible, but not good either. Table was sticky. Used margarine instead of real butter, coffee creamer packets instead of real cream (they did bring me milk at my request), fake syrup, and what I presume was egg substitute in scrambled eggs - .50 cent up charge for real over medium eggs. Maybe I've lived in Portland too long, but is it difficult to get real food in Idaho? I'll give 3 stars total: 1 star for the nice girls serving, another for it being free and lastly a star for their bacon which was perfect.

Since this is probably the most popular place in Mountain Home everybody and their dog must have been here tonight. The service was very mediocre. Our waitress never asked me what I wanted to drink and the wings tasted like they were burnt so they tried to hide the taste by drowning them in overly sweetened sauce. Natasha are waitress was so busy that her customer service skills laxed in attention. Overall this is an average place with average service an average food.

Great breakfast. Not what you'd expect from a wing place. Really enjoyed it and would go back.

Awesome food at a good price and our waiter Kenny was great. Even my kids walked out talking about how much they enjoyed the food and the service. Highly recommended.

We ate at Wingers on a trip thru the area recently. I think everybody in the town of Mountain Home was in this restaurant. My to-go order I placed at the bar took a long time. The bartender was trying and I give him an " A" for effort. The food is nothing special and was not worth the wait. This wing establishment is like any other wing restaurant you will see anywhere else. It is conveniently located next to several hotels and the Highway.

A popular place just off the freeway In this small town near an air base. I ordered the mahi mahi bowl with rice & veggies sans the teriyaki sauce. It was good though the veggies were chopped very small. The was coconut flavoring in the rice! My wife wouldn't have eaten it but I did reluctantly. There was also some sort of "popped" rice noodles that I mostly ignored.

Great food, great service. Today's our waitress was the best I've ever had there. Very attentive, knew her job and very polite. They even have gluten free choices. I highly recommend asking for Monica. She the best server in the entire place. Liked her so much, she got a 20% tip.

This way my first time stopping in. The rice bowl had great favor, spoke with Kenny about my visit and that I was very pleased with Sarah E's service. The sauce was amazing, I highly recommend it! In fact I'll be back in the morning for breakfast.

I stopped in here with a coworker on our lunch break. We were immediately greeted and seated. It came up that we were on the clock so our server wasted no time. We got our food fast. I ordered s burger, it was excellent. The steak fries had good flavor but were a bit dry. Still a good experience and I look forward to my next visit.

As perhaps the only major sit-down restaurant in Mountain Home, Wingers doesn't disappoint. Their menu is somewhat diverse, full of tasty-yet-standard American and Americanized food items. Everything that I've had from here has been great save for the time I made the mistake of getting the crispy noodles atop my rice bowl. It's great without it but with it, I didn't like it. Service is always friendly with clean bathrooms. Prices aren't too bad either. As long as you don't go in expecting a five-star meal, this place is all right. Recommended!

I'm on the tail end of a 10,000 mile drive and Yelp hasn't let me down yet, so I was disappointed to see that Mtn. Home's highest rated restaurant was a fake Thai food joint. I was going to just go to Boise, but on a Sunday night, things were closing up, so I went to Winger's, figuring it would be better than fast food. When I arrived I saw a family of five waiting to be seated, and they appeared to have been there awhile. A hostess appeared a few minutes later to seat them, and then a manager came out and began to seat the people that came in after I did. I might not care under normal circumstances, but I was tired and I wanted to get back on the road, so I waved to him and let him know I needed a table for one. I don't think I was rude about it, but the other people acted like I was out of line and they were taking the moral high ground by letting me be seated ahead of them, even though I got there before them... Anyway... I was seated at a tall table in the middle of one of the dining rooms, even though there were lots of empty booths, and I sat there for the next several minutes, trying to find something on the menu that didn't look disgusting. They had like six different 'blackened' dishes. One or two, fine, but at some point you have to stop blackening everything. I eventually decided on a burger, but it didn't matter, because no one was around to take my order, even though the place wasn't busy at all. (It was Sunday night, remember.) When I did see a server, she acted like she didn't see me until I made an effort to catch her eye, at which point she muttered something about bringing me popcorn, then disappeared before I had a chance to tell her that I f---ing hate popcorn. Besides the fact that it's like eating styrofoam, what a cheap gimmick -- take the cheapest snack money can buy and give it out like its some kind of treat. I decided to just take the stupid popcorn and be gracious about it, but another few minutes passed, and I didn't even have a cup of water yet, much less popcorn. So I left, and went to Arby's, where there was a woman in camouflage overalls who kept scratching her crotch and a guy who looked like Kenny Rogers and wouldn't stop talking about Borat.

I've been to Wingers before and they generally have been pretty good. The 'Sticky Fingers' in Mtn Home were disgusting! They were 95% thick crusty batter and only about 5% chicken! If it had not been 'take out' I would've sent them back and ordered something different. Service was good but the bartender had the annoying habit of calling everyone 'Boss'. I might go back back again but definitely not for the 'Sticky Fingers'! -LC

Food is good... But haven't had the best experience with take-out multiple times. Every other time we have ordered takeout something is missing or wrong. As for dining in better experience, at least when something is messed up it can be fixed.

My brother and I just moved from California about a week ago, and we were looking for somewhere that could be a regular hangout spot for food and drinks. And boy did we strike gold here. Food is fair priced, our server Angela was Awesome. Their homemade brews are great as well. Will definitely be eating there a lot more.

Solid 4 stars. Food was decent but a bit over priced, loved the classic buffalo sauce! I came here everyday from Sunday to Friday and only one server provided below par service. Good place to visit either for a quick bite or watch a game at the bar.

Stay away, sick the next day and evening from eating here. Approached Mgmt. the next day to complain and they seemed to not care and blamed everyone except themselves.

Ok so my son and dad both lived their dinners, mine was too salty. I told my waitress Emily and she immediately put in an order for a replacement with sauce on the side. Not only that but the manager also came out to talk to us to make sure we were happy. My food was great after that and service excellent. If you are at all sensitive to sodium just ask for sauce on the side or tasters first.

Don't it deserves a five, but think some have been a little harsh and hope to balance score card a little. Beer is cold and food is hot. Chicken pot pie is the best in the nation and I travel a lot so welcome the challenge if you disagree. Wings are a little Bready, but great flavor; however, the burgers are honestly just bad all the way around. Good luck Bryan B

After driving since 0630 we were ready for a good lunch. Service was a little slow. Only 1 ring of onion on the burgers. The steak frys were not fresh. The burgers were good, beef was tasty. Chicken tortilla soup mostly beans but good.

I'm not a big fan of Winger's. Eating here entails consuming large amounts of salt. They provided me with a gluten free menu but hence I still managed to feel like crap after eating here. Next time I'll just finish my trek to Boise to eat a sit-down meal.

There's another similar sports bar wings chain, BW3's, and this place blows BW3's out of the water. Huge wings that taste good even without any sauce. If you're a fan of wings, that should be more than enough to give this place a try. With TVs all over the place, you can't find any better place to catch some game. This was another place we went to twice during our stay... and with their happy hours we were in danger of coming here a third time...

I stayed in the hotel next door and had dinner and breakfast: scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns for breakfast and fajitas for dinner, both of which tasted good. Menu items are more or less what you would expect from a chain bar and grill, but well-prepared, fresh tasting and flavorful. Good beer on tap. Service was friendly and quick with the refills. Prices are low for the quality of the food.

so let me say this is my first time doing something like this. Wingers was the first place my family tried when we first came to mountain home. our first time was kinda bad. the food wasnt that great and our server seemed to be somewhere else. We ended up going back and the food was ok and the service a little slow. My 3rd experience was better but then again its hard to mess up a salad. The chicken is good but I dont recommend the burgers.
